Meet Our Executive Director

Fred Strahorn became the Executive Director of the Ohio Healthy Homes Network in the Spring of 2021, after serving in the Ohio General Assembly for eighteen years. He is a graduate of Ohio State University where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Aviation Management.

Fred served as a legislative aide in the Ohio General Assembly from 1997-2000. He went on to run for the Ohio House of Representatives and win in 2000. He served in the General Assembly from 2001-2010 and 2013-2020. Fred served in House leadership for seven years, four of which were spent as the Ohio House Minority Leader. He also served for a brief time as the Vice President of Legislative Affairs at the Ohio United Way.

Additionally, Fred has worked in real estate investment and is a licensed real estate agent in the State of Ohio.

Mandy Minick has acquired public relations, project management, and communications acumen from nearly every angle in a career spanning more than two decades.

Since founding Minick Public Relations in 2022, Mandy has been privileged to work with more than two dozen clients ranging from public entities to private businesses, from for-profit organizations to charitable nonprofits, and from large organizations with more than 1,000 employees to one-person startups.
